The best way to predict the future is to invent it

Alan Kay

I built my first science experiment in 1992 at the age of 10. It was a simple radio receiver circuit with iron pyrite crystal. Obviously my father, an applied chemist, helped me build most of it. I didn't really understand everything he explained at the time, but I was blown away by station 95.4FM music playing out from the 9V speakers. "How is this possible?!" I asked my dad. "It's physics!" he confidently answered, with a smile!

I spent the last 15 years researching fluid mechanics in many applications working primarily with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to explore the physics and dynamics of turbulent flows in industrial, environmental and physiological contexts.

Along my career in fluid dynamics R&D, I developed a strong passion for deep tech, particularly machine intelligence and blockchain and now engaged in a number of AI and DeSci projects. Having lived and worked in Japan, Malaysia, and Egypt, I built active networks in academia and industry across the Middle East, Europe and East Asia.

Received Ph.D. from UTM, Malaysia, with a thesis on the aerothermochemistry of turbulent vortex flames, then participated in a number of international R&D projects involving a wide array of applications in aerodynamics, thermal engineering and energy systems.

Since 2014, I have been working on biomedical applications of fluid mechanics. In 2020, my team and I discovered non-Kolmogorov turbulence in physiologic blood flow and subsequently identified 5 new mechano-miRNAs associated with endothelial dysfunction.
